- Access by Trans Canada Highway 11 and Secondary Provincial Highway 801 to a series of logging roads that traverse the property

- Archean age Beardmore-Geraldton Greenstone Belt, includes mafic and felsic volcanic rocks
- Recently acquired grass roots project and no work has been done by Alto
